Data Analyst

The Data Analyst collects, organizes, reviews, and verifies the data necessary for analysis of client’s portfolios. In addition, the Data Analyst assists in maintaining internal research databases and contributes in the completion of special projects. The Data Analyst interacts regularly with custodian banks and investment management firms, in addition to other data providers. The Data Analyst works regularly with Investment Analysts and Consultants in carrying out the position’s duties. Candidates must have: Ability to gather, organize, and coordinate data from disparate sources; strong quantitative skills; facility with spreadsheet programs and word processing software; skill at analyzing, evaluating, and reviewing quantitative information, with a high degree of accuracy; familiarity with investment statistics.

Investment Analyst

We are currently seeking to hire an Investment Analyst for our Westwood office. Analysts work directly with senior consultants to provide reporting and investment advisory services to our clients, including setting investment strategies, monitoring fund performance and strategy, and responding to ad hoc client requests. An Analyst's responsibilities include:

  • Preparing all deliverables for assigned clients, such as quarterly client reports.
  • Assisting consultants in the production of client investment policy statements, asset allocation recommendations, and related advisory services.
  • Participating in and giving presentations at client meetings with Consultants.
  • Coordinating investment manager and other service provider searches.
  • Coordinating rebalancing and other cash flow activity.
  • Conducting special research on investment-related topics.
  • Utilizing investment-related software programs to aid in the evaluation of client investment structures and in the formulation of recommendations.

We seek self-motivated, enthusiastic individuals with excellent attention to detail. Ideal candidates will have an MBA, CFA and/or CAIA, a minimum of five years of investment experience, a strong background in economics, finance, and statistics, demonstrated superior writing and analytical abilities, and will be skilled with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
